Effective Date: April 5th, 2025
1. Use of the Service
- Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
- Permitted Use: The Service is intended to help users reduce spam and enhance online safety. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.
- Prohibited Conduct: You may not:
- Use the Service to harass, or harm others.
- Use vulgar, obscene, or offensive language in any content or communications via the Service.
- Attempt to interfere with the Service’s functionality or security.
- Upload or share content that is illegal, abusive, or violates the rights of others.
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to access the Service’s source code.
2. Accounts
- To create an account, you must agreeing to these Terms, which are linked for your review. Your account creation signifies your acceptance of these Terms.
- If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.
- You agree to provide accurate information during registration and to notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Intellectual Property
- Our Content: All content, trademarks, and technology on the Service are owned by or licensed to 0spam.org and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
- Your Content: By submitting content to the Service (e.g., feedback, reports), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, modify, and display it to operate and improve the Service.
4. Privacy
- Our collection and use of your personal information are governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we handle your data.
5. Disclaimers
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including-feira, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
- We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure we do maintain a security first initive.
6. Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by law, 0spam.org and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
7. Termination
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service, including account suspension or deletion, at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms—including the use of vulgar, obscene, or offensive language—or for any other reason.
- Upon account termination, as agreed during signup, we may retain your email address (or a hashed version) to prevent abuse or repeated account creation. This retention is in addition to any data we may keep as permitted or required by law.
- You may stop using the Service at any time.
8. Changes to These Terms
- We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted here with a revised "Effective Date." Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
9. Support Ticket Fee for Free Accounts
- We charge a $10 support ticket fee for users with free accounts in order to prevent abuse of our ticketing system. This fee will be refunded if the issue is due to bugs, service errors, or other malfunctions where the cause lies with 0spam.org. Refunds do not apply to support or instructional assistance for removal processes when instructions are clearly stated on 0spam.org.
- Refund Eligibility: Refunds will only be provided when our system is malfunctioning or for specific valid reasons. Examples of valid reasons include:
- You followed all instructions but encountered an error or unexpected behavior with the 0spam platform.
- You have a question about our paid services.
- You would like to be a sponsor for the 0spam Project.
- You run an antispam service and would like access to our raw data.
- The removal request form is not working—read instructions, verify no mistakes on your part, and include full details if issues persist.
- You found a bug and would like to report it.
- You have another good reason and request a refund using the refund request button in the support ticket system.
- To request a refund, use the refund request button in the support ticket system. Refunds are at our discretion based on the criteria above but just asking nice usually works.
10. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, USA, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
